What is Lichen Sclerosus?

NHS online defines Lichen Sclerosus as "... a skin condition that causes itchy white patches on the genitals or other parts of the body. There's no cure, but treatment can help relieve the symptoms."

The white patches that appear and can often tear or bleed easily making sitting uncomfortable especially for women.

Cushion to make sitting with Lichen Sclerosus more comfortable:

This customer ordered the Dr Huff cut out cushion. This cushion has a tear drop shape removed from the centre of the cushion to remove pressure in that region. It was originally designed by a female doctor for post natal pressure relief however is increasingly used by more people for vulvodynia and prostate relief due to the placement of the cut-out.

We had this cushion pressure mapped and it was shown to reduce pressure in the sensitive region.

We manufacture this cushion in several different sizes and thicknesses depending on the chair it is to be used in.

All versions of this cushion come with either a black or blue stretch removable washable cover. The cover hides the cut out so anyone looking at it would not know it was any different to a normal cushion making it's use discreet.
